The JCR committee is tasked with representing the undergraduate members of Harris Manchester. Members are elected by the student body from Hilary Term to Michaelmas Term of the following academic year. We’re here to represent your views, address your concerns and organise great events you’re interested in, so don’t hesitate to get in touch.
As president, I represent the voice of the JCR in the continuing dialogue between the student body and the college administration. I also serve as a liaison to all college staff and to the wider University - so do feel free to reach out to me if you have any issues or concerns. In the words of my predecessor, I am your "first port of call"! I also work with the committee officers to ensure the smooth running of college life and events. I especially hope to continue to help our college grow and to foster our amazing community in this year of change, as we say farewell to Dr Waller and welcome a new Principal.
As Vice, I am here to support the President in her work, and help where necessary. The role also involves acting as a substitute to attend meetings and so on in the event of the President being unable.
