Broadly, my role is to enable the rest of the committee to fulfil their responsibilities seamlessly by ensuring that all administrative matters are ironed out. Hello, I’m Ryan! As Treasurer, my role is to ensure that the rest of the committee and societies in our college have the financial means to contribute positively to college life. Other responsibilities include drafting the termly budget, handling reimbursements, and keeping an eye on anything money-related the JCR does.

Hello, we are Marco and Chloe. As your Social Secretaries it is our job to organise a range of communal activities across term, from special dinners celebrating national holidays to formal swaps with other colleges. Our most vital events are college ‘Big Organised Parties’ (BOPs) and the termly JCR guestnight.

Hi everyone, I’m Ansel. As your IT officer, my main role is to maintain the JCR’s tech infrastructure, including this very website! I’m also called upon whenever the JCR requires assistance in setting up and maintaining any new tech-related projects, and when the option for remote participation is needed for any JCR meetings/hustings.

If you’re ever in need of IT-related help, or if you have any suggestions for the website, please do not hesitate to come and find me! I’ve usually got my hands full with Engineering, but I’ll always take time out to lend a hand.

Hello! We are Max and Laurel, the Freshers’ Officers for HMC. We’re responsible for planning Freshers’ Week and other fresher events, managing college families, and more generally helping everyone to get used to life here in Oxford. We hope to make the transition as easy and fun as possible for all first-years :) We also manage the termly stash drop and help you get all the college merch you want. I’ve included non-alcoholic beverages at formal and endeavoured to expand our snack selection so that everyone has access to diet-appropriate snacks. Hey! We're Ishaan, Ambrose, and Josh, and we're your Welfare Representatives. Our role is to support everyone’s wellbeing and make sure that college is a safe, caring, and warm environment. We're here if you need someone to talk to and/or have a serious issue you need to report. We also run events such as coffee walks, book shop trips, and movie nights, and provide snacks and often pizza to help with those long days of study and expensive weekend dinners.
